Primal Strength Plate

A Sanadi Strength Ritual for Protein, Satiety, and Deep Nourishment

This is ancestral eating with modern intention: a nutrient-dense, protein-rich meal that keeps me full and focused. It’s my go-to for strength, satiety, and serious glow.

Ingredients (Serves 1)

For the Steak

  • 10 oz bone-in ribeye or Delmonico steak (grass-fed, grass-finished)

  • 1 tbsp ghee

  • 1 tsp Baja Gold mineral salt

  • ½ tsp cracked black pepper

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • Optional: fresh thyme or rosemary sprig

For the Asparagus

  • 6–8 spears organic asparagus

  • 1 tsp ghee

  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

  • Pinch Baja Gold salt

  • Optional: squeeze of lemon or lemon zest

For the Potato

  • 1 small organic Yukon gold or sweet potato

  • 1 tsp ghee or olive oil

  • Pinch of Baja Gold salt + black pepper

  • Optional: fresh chopped chives or rosemary

Instructions

1. Bake the Potato

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • Scrub and pierce your potato with a fork. Rub with ghee or oil, and season with salt + pepper.

  • Bake on a tray or directly on the rack for 45–60 minutes, until fork-tender.

  • Optional: Slice open and top with a pat of ghee or sprinkle of fresh herbs before serving.

2. Prepare the Steak

  • Take your steak out of the fridge 30 minutes before cooking to come to room temp.

  • Season both sides generously with Baja Gold salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.

  • Heat a cast iron pan on medium-high. Add ghee, let it melt and shimmer.

  • Sear steak 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust based on thickness), basting with ghee and adding herbs if using.

  • Let rest 5–7 minutes before slicing to preserve juices.

3. Sauté the Asparagus

  • While steak rests, in the same pan or a separate skillet, heat ghee over medium heat.

  • Add asparagus and sauté for 4–5 minutes until crisp-tender.

  • Season with garlic powder, Baja Gold salt, and optional lemon zest.

Why It Works

  • Ribeye/Delmonico (Bone-In): Protein, iron, zinc, and B12

  • Ghee: Rich flavor and a high smoke point for searing

  • Baja Gold Salt: Unrefined sea salt with trace minerals

  • Asparagus: Fiber-rich, with folate and vitamin K

  • Potato: A whole-food carb that rounds out the plate and keeps you satisfied
