Golden Milk

Warming. Calming. Soul-soothing.

Golden Milk, also known as a turmeric latte, is a centuries-old Ayurvedic drink. With its blend of turmeric, ginger, and warming spices, it’s a calming ritual at any time of day. Whether you’re starting your day with intention or winding down in the evening, this golden elixir is the definition of warm luxury in a cup.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk, oat milk, or organic whole milk

  • ½ tsp ground turmeric

  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp ground ginger (or a few slices fresh ginger)

  • Pinch of black pepper (traditionally paired with turmeric)

  • ½ tsp coconut oil or ghee (optional, adds creaminess)

  • ½ tsp raw honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)

  • Optional add-ons: pinch of cardamom, nutmeg, or vanilla for extra warmth

Instructions:

  1. Warm the Milk:
Gently heat your milk of choice in a small saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Whisk in Spices:
Add turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, and any optional spices. Whisk well to dissolve and combine.

  3. Simmer:
Lower the heat and let simmer for 3–5 minutes to fully infuse. Stir in coconut oil or ghee if using.

  4. Sweeten & Serve:
Remove from heat, add honey or maple syrup, and pour into your favorite mug.
For a frothy finish, blend for 10–15 seconds in a high-speed blender.

Sanadi Life Tips:
• Add pearl powder or ashwagandha if they’re already part of your routine
• Drink it in the evening as part of your wind-down
• Keep a premixed “golden blend” in a jar for faster prep
